1610-1629 Jamestown Slavery & Cape Cod Pilgrims
This twenty year period covers the reign of James I who died
in 1625 and was succeeded by his son Charles I. There was constant warfare in
the world, one war finished somewhere, another one started somewhere else, but
during this period the Pilgrims did arrive safely at Cape
Cod in 1620.
This period coincided with the final years of the 1600–1611 Polish–Swedish War; the 1602–1612 Turkish-Persian War; and the 1609–1618 Russo–Polish War.

1625–1629 Huguenot Uprising in France.
During this period the King James version of the Bible was published in 1611, in 1616 Dirk Hartog reached the west coast ofAustralia ,
in 1619 African indentured workers were introduced at Jamestown
Virginia and in 1620 the Pilgrims arrived at Cape cod
